Mike Kostakos, DDS
Dr. Mike Kostakos graduated from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry and has been practicing dentistry in the Metro-Detroit area for nearly 30 years. His patients really appreciate his calm, fun-loving demeanor and commitment to providing them with the optimal care at every visit. When his patients let him take some time off, he really enjoys traveling with his family and experiencing the outdoors; whether it be in northern Michigan or somewhere a bit further, like the spectacular country of Greece, where he was born.
Veronica Jabero, DDS
Dr. Jabero is a dedicated general and cosmetic dentist. She has earned her degree from University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry in 2018. She makes every effort to stay on top of the current developments in dentistry with a gentle touch. As a working mother of two children, she understands the challenges that parents face when trying to provide optimum oral care for their children. For adults, she understands that there are those who are apprehensive or phobic of going to the dentist. She is passionate about ensuring all adults, as well as children, receive adequate access to dental care regardless of income, race or social status. Dr. Jabero has also had additional training and experience in Invisalign. She works closely with a study group to ensure optimal care. Her greatest joy is to restore a patient’s smile.
Dr. Justin Nafso, DDS
Dr. Justin Nafso is a devoted general dentist who graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2023. He is passionate about patient care and prioritizes building strong relationships with each of his patients to ensure personalized and compassionate treatment. With a focus on comprehensive care, Dr. Nafso works to address both the immediate and long-term dental needs of his patients. He stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry to provide the highest quality care and innovative solutions for his patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nafso enjoys staying active by playing basketball and golf, working out, and spending time with friends. He also cherishes moments with his dog, Milo, who brings joy to his life. Dr. Nafso is committed to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for all his patients.
Wala
Wala has dedicated 20+ years working alongside Dr. Mike and continues to express her passion in helping patients. Wala started out as a dental assistant to Dr. Mike, learned the front desk, and in no time became the office manager. When Wala is not serving her team and patients, she loves spending time with her husband and three children, and embraces her ethnic background by staying active with heavy involvement in the Chaldean community.
Tania, Registered Dental Hygienist
Tania graduated from Oakland Community College in 2017, where she earned her degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been a patient of Dr. Kostakos since she was a child and has been part of the team for 6+ years. She is compassionate about educating oral hygiene and easing dental fear and anxiety for all ages. When she isn’t taking care of patients she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying new restaurants and working out.
Suzy, Registered Dental Hygienist
Suzy started in the dental field at the age of 15 as an assistant. She continued her education in dentistry and received her Registered Dental Hygienist License. She’s passionate about her patient’s oral health and thorough in easing dental anxiety. Outside the office, Suzy loves spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring fun dining spots.
Veda, Registered Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in Michigan, our hygienist Veda has always had a passion for dentistry. She started her dental career working as a dental assistant for many years, prior to becoming a registered hygienist. Veda truly enjoys educating her patients on how to improve and maintain proper oral hygiene, and she prioritizes her patients’ comfort throughout their appointment. Outside of the office, Veda enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and exercising.
Angeline, Registered Dental Hygienist
Angeline discovered her passion for the dental field after a challenging childhood experience at the dentist. Determined to ensure her patients never feel the way she once did, Angeline is committed to creating a comfortable and safe environment for everyone in her care.
A proud graduate of Oakland Community College in 2021, Angeline has built her career on compassion and dedication to her patients. As a mom of twins, she cherishes time spent with her family and enjoys sharing her love for cooking with loved ones. Angeline’s warm personality and patient-centered approach make every dental visit a welcoming experience.
Brittany, Registered Dental Hygienist
Brittany is a dedicated and compassionate dental hygienist who graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. With over seven years of experience in the dental field, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a patient-centered approach to every appointment.
Passionate about oral health education, Brittany loves working closely with her patients to enhance their home care routines. She provides personalized support and valuable information to help them achieve and maintain optimal dental hygiene. She also stays up to date with the latest dental products and technology, always seeking new ways to improve patient comfort and care. Outside the office, Brittany enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling to new destinations, and diving into a good book.
